My thoughts on Brandon Marshall
town over a pissing match with your 12 year old coach. And that is after firing one of the best coaches in the leaguie for no
good reason. And hiring the previously mentioned 12 year old.
Do I want Marshall with the Ravens. If we give up little then yes. But
don't give the Broncos value. At this point they will be willing to
trade for next to nothing.

Doug Wood at KY Speedway
Experience at Kentucky Speedway went:
"towson1990: @kulwicky it was awesome. Reminded me of a giant go-cart.
I did 139.1 MPH. Actually had the fastest lap in my group of 15."

My thoughts on the 2009 Baltimore Ravens
look in control of the offense. And the Ravens don't ask too much of
him. RB - McGahee, McClain and Ray Rice. They should be one of the
strongest groups in the league. OL - young, but talented. It will be up and down. TE - LJ Smith is hurt all of the time. Todd Heap is hurt all of the
time. Maybe between the 2 of them. P - Sam Koch is one of the best in league K - I wonder if they have Matt Stover's phone number. If not they may
be screwed. DL/DE - Trevor Pryce, Suggs in rush package, Gregg and Ngata. No
problems here. Gregg and Ngata are 2 of the best in the business. LB - Ray Lewis and whoever he trains next. Sounds good to me. S - See LB above and sub Ed Reed's name. CB - young and inexperienced. And although I like Frank Walker he is
not so good. A little worried here. And Samari Rolle will probably
never play again.
This team is good for 8-10 wins easily. And they can easily get 2-4
more depending on some luck. I just want them to beet the Steelers!!!!!!

Carl Grossman Dies - 8/24 - DCRTV gets confirmation that Carl Grossman, 60, the Leesburg man who pleaded guilty in Fairfax County Court in May 2007 to a misdemeanor charge of stalking in connection with a January 2007 incident in which former WJFK afternoon host Don Geronimo (aka Michael Sorce) received a letter that allegedly contained threats to himself and his family, has died. Grossman, who had been a frequent caller on the Don and Mike O'Meara show, was given a one-year jail sentence with 10 months suspended, followed by a year of probation and a period of supervised mental health care. Grossman's sister, Sara, tells DCRTV that her brother's death "was very sudden and unexpected. Of course, my family blames Don Geronimo for his death in a weird way." She adds: "Our view is that if Don had accepted Carl's written apology, or allowed Carl to pay a fine and be on probation instead of insisting that no plea could be reached unless a jail sentence was attached, then Carl would not have been fired from his job, would not have been denied unemployment benefits, would not have lost health insurance, could have gone to see doctors and afford medications for his asthma, and would not have died uninsured and with respiratory failure that he could not afford to have treated properly." She says that Carl went to an emergency room last Wednesday. He was released from the hospital on Friday and was found dead of an apparent asthma attack on Saturday morning after placing a 911 call at 5 AM.....

The Big Government Health-Care Fear - dot.comments
...As a Canadian, there is no issue with respect to deductibles, insurability, orgoing bankrupt because you used up all your savings for medical costs... Our system is far from perfect, but, I think that the average Canadian's biggest fear when it comes to health care, would be to have the American health care system replace our current system...
The Big Government Health-Care Fear - dot.comments
You could disrupt every town hall meeting in the nation with a very small minority of the population. I am getting tired of the tactic. I would like to see rational discussion, not yelling, fist fights, calling people Nazis, and (in a few cases) carrying guns in crowds.
The Big Government Health-Care Fear - dot.comments
I love the people protesting about "government run healthcare" when they are on Medicare. How dumb is that?

One aspirin at a free-market hospital: $32.00. One aspirin at the local drug store: $.01...For thinking people there is health care reform. For everyone else there is Rush Limbaugh.

Ravens Insider: Snoop Dogg livens up Ravens camp -- baltimoresun.com
Snoop Dogg livens up Ravens camp
It was a nice change of pace for rapper Snoop Dogg to attend Ravens practice this morning. You need a little fun to lighten up training camp because it can become quite boring.
Snoop looked like he was still asleep when he first walked down the steps onto the field, but he started getting into the practice.
He had a four- or five-person entourage, and these were some well-dressed guys. I loved the guy whose main job was to hold Snoop's umbrella as he walked around under it.
According to both Snoop and Ray Lewis, they are close friends and Lewis invited him to training camp. The players responded well to Snoop's appearance, and they seemed to have some fun.
When asked if Snoop had provided him with any new dance moves for the pre-game introduction, Lewis just laughed and said, "Nah, nobody messes with that."
It was good stuff.

Explore Harford: Bel Air police tackling public urination
Town also looking at placing speed cameras in school zones
By Bryna Zumer
Posted 8/06/09
With nightlife in Bel Air heating up, the Board of Town Commissioners is hoping to crack down on one related nuisance: public urination.
In addition, the town is taking the first steps toward the possible installation of speed cameras in school zones.
At its work session Tuesday, the board said it will be voting as early as Monday to add public urination to the ordinance regarding prohibited conduct on public property or in public view.
That would allow police to write up violators for a criminal infraction. The ordinance makes it illegal to eat, drink or play music in a public parking lot or congregate for those purposes.
Police Chief Leo Matrangola said officers started noticing a spike in cases of public urination and counted six violations over the past weekend, starting Friday.
He said it is related to tavern activity.
"All this is late-night stuff, after midnight," he said.
Matrangola also announced that the police department will be distributing a traffic survey about the possibility of installing speed cameras in school zones.
The survey will be sent to about 200 households near Bel Air High, Bel Air Elementary, John Carroll and St. Margaret schools, including parts of Route 22, Giles Street, Idlewild Street, Linwood Avenue, Hickory Avenue and Kenmore Avenue.
For more details, see Friday's edition of The Aegis.
