Family: Former Reagan press secretary James Brady dies

CNN: Former White House Press Secretary James Brady has died at the age of 73, according to a statement from his family.

Brady was press secretary under President Ronald Reagan. He was left partially paralyzed in an assassination attempt on Reagan in 1981 and later became a prominent gun-control advocate.
