13 St. Patrick’s Day Cocktails for 2016

st. patrick's day cocktails

St. Patrick’s Day Cocktails:

This March 17th, we mark the 1555th anniversary St. Patrick’s passing. Prior to his death in 461, Patrick, the ubiquitous drinking man’s saint, traveled the whole of Ireland, establishing churches and monasteries, converting pagans and driving the snakes of evil from the island. As the centuries passed, the celebration spread to a worldwide event, but today, especially in America, St. Patrick’s day seems to be an excuse to dye all things green: be they rivers, beer or hair.

Irish Drinks:

Even if there isn’t a single drop of blood from the Emerald Isle running thorough your veins, St. Patrick’s Day is excellent excuse to party in the middle of the every potentially dreary month of March. One of the best ways to celebrate the day is with a great St. Patrick’s Day drink!
